I’m Jayne and I’d like to thank you for visiting.

I am a professional designer who loves to paint furniture in my down time. I live on the East Coast of Kent where the colours, textures and smells inspire me. Chalk Coast is my home and my painting hobby, both of which I love.  

I'm passionate about recycling, upcycling and reusing what I can, whether that’s finding and adapting architectural oddities, refreshing items of furniture or treating myself to 'new' clothes. I can rarely justify buying new when there are so many wonderful items with a life history already out there ready to be discovered.

I love finding pre-loved (or not-so-loved) pieces, repairing them to bring them back to their former glory and then painting them to help them on a new journey creating a refreshingly new history for them.
